Smart antennas are receivers with antennas in a single housing. They are attached with double-sided tape, lightweight, and suitable for both drones and cars. You can choose from one of three antennas or use your own with an SMA connector. The main advantage is that it's a ready-to-use device, with almost nothing to do on your own. All boards use a supercapacitor for backup power, so there's no need for battery replacement.
USB Smart RFI
The downside of this smart antenna is that the maximum distance from it to the computer is 3 meters. If you want more, you need to use an interface converter, for example, a cheap OrangePie can be turned into a USB to Ethernet converter. The connector is USB type C. The antenna is a Helix (3 options to choose from). It can be attached with double-sided tape or a magnetic plate, which is included. These smart devices have both an antenna amplifier (LNA) and a filter (SAW) in the antenna and receiver to protect against out-of-band radio interference (RFI).

UART+SPI Smart RFI
The interfaces are UART at TTL levels or SPI (to enable SPI, short the D_SEL contacts inside the housing). This means the length from the receiver to the consumer is small, up to one meter. For longer distances, it makes sense to use a UART to RS-422 converter, allowing distances of hundreds of meters (provided the power supply voltage reaches the module). The antenna is a Helix (3 options to choose from). It can be attached with double-sided tape or a magnetic plate, which is included.
